Fitting pictures on the shade. How to mount multiple pictures on the shade at one time, quickly and easily. See instructions below. The pictures on the shade to the left were made with a digital camera and printed on a home computer printer on overhead projector film. See Fotos page for more information on how to source pictures.
To place pictures on the shade, wrap the clear pane around the shade, as shown above. You will need a picture that has been printed on clear film or a Transparency and some clear Scotch Tape to be attach to the top of the picture.
To attach the tape to the top of the picture, fold the tape over where it is attached to both sides of the picture leaving about an inch sticking up from the picture. The tape will be used to position the picture on the shade and to retreive the picture if you want to change pictures.
Here is the picture with the tab taped to the top, ready to be slid onto the shade.
Slide the picture between the shade and the outer clear pane.
Set the shade up and position the picture on the shade using the tape tab. It only takes minutes from the time a picture is taken and mounted on the shade. Children's school art work can be scanned into the computer and printed out and placed on the shade. This is better than putting it on the refrigerator.
